Armenia announces FX operations 'to ensure stability' on financial markets

Armenia will conduct operations in the foreign exchange market in order to ensure the normal functioning of its financial markets, the Armenian Central Bank said on Wednesday. The regulator said it continues to monitor financial markets and, if necessary, will use all tools to ensure price and financial stability. The central bank did not disclose details of planned market operations.
